Wet Belt Replacement — common questions
- When should the wet belt be changed?
- Manufacturer intervals have been revised down significantly since these engines launched. On most Ford EcoBoost engines we now recommend replacement every 6 years or 100,000 miles, and often sooner if the car is used mostly on short journeys.
