- 3Oil, filter and consumables replaced to manufacturer schedule

- 5Digital service record updated and any advisories shared for approval

OEM and OEM-equivalent parts
- Genuine or OEM-equivalent oil filters (Mann, Mahle, Bosch)
- Fully synthetic oils to manufacturer spec (Castrol, Shell, Total)
- OE air, pollen and fuel filters
- Genuine spark plugs (NGK, Denso, Bosch)
We never fit unbranded pattern parts to safety-critical systems. Every part is traceable and covered by our warranty.

Vehicle Servicing — common questions
- Will servicing at Southern VSR affect my manufacturer warranty?
- No. Under the EU Block Exemption Regulation you can have your car serviced at any qualified independent garage using OEM-grade parts and fluids without invalidating the manufacturer warranty — and we log every service on the official digital service record where supported.
- What is the difference between an interim, full and major service?
- An interim service is a light oil-and-filter service every 6 months or 6,000 miles. A full service is annual and adds air, pollen and fuel filters plus a deeper inspection. A major service is every 2 years or 24,000 miles and adds spark plugs, brake fluid and coolant checks.
