FAQs

Vehicle Servicing — common questions

Will servicing at Southern VSR affect my manufacturer warranty?
No. Under the EU Block Exemption Regulation you can have your car serviced at any qualified independent garage using OEM-grade parts and fluids without invalidating the manufacturer warranty — and we log every service on the official digital service record where supported.
What is the difference between an interim, full and major service?
An interim service is a light oil-and-filter service every 6 months or 6,000 miles. A full service is annual and adds air, pollen and fuel filters plus a deeper inspection. A major service is every 2 years or 24,000 miles and adds spark plugs, brake fluid and coolant checks.
