Good to know

  • Costs just £15 a day. We simply ask you to return it with the same amount of fuel it left us with.
  • Book ahead. We only have three, so please reserve when you book in.
  • Driver requirements. Full UK licence, aged 25+. We'll take a quick licence check on drop-off.
  • Insurance. Fully insured for social, domestic and commuting use during your booking.

Your driving licence and your privacy

Before we hand over a courtesy car we record your driving licence details and take a photo of your licence. We do this so we can check you are legally allowed to drive the car and to meet the requirements of our insurance.

The photo is stored securely, is only seen by Southern VSR Ltd, and is never shared or used for marketing. As long as there are no claims or issues with the loan, the photo is deleted automatically 6 weeks after the end of your booking.

We keep the basic loan record — dates, mileage and fuel readings — for longer, as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, or ask us to delete the photo sooner, by emailing harry@svsr.co.uk or calling 01730 555 777.
