Peugeot Wet Belt Replacement

The Peugeot 1.2 PureTech is one of the most talked-about wet belt engines in the UK, and for good reason: the belt degrades in the oil, the debris blocks the oil pickup, and the turbo and bearings starve. Replacing the belt at the right time is far cheaper than replacing the engine. We fit genuine PSA kits and always inspect the pickup while we're in there.

What's included

  • Genuine PSA / Peugeot PureTech wet belt kits
  • Oil pickup and strainer inspected and cleaned
  • Turbo oil feed checked for sludge

The Southern VSR promise

  • Written, itemised quote before any work begins
  • Digital approval by SMS if extra work is needed

Why this matters

Peugeot has shortened the PureTech belt interval since these cars launched. If your 208 or 2008 is still on the original service-book figure, it is very likely overdue.
